Painted kitchen combined with wood and marble
Here is a highly creative and uniquely challenging kitchen designed for a doctor and a high-tech professional.
The kitchen cabinets were finished with painted surfaces, while the appliances were designed as built-in units. The integrated refrigerator was placed inside a specially designed niche, fully clad in marble, with top LED lighting and a floating wooden shelf.
The main challenge of the project was the island:
The entire island is clad in marble — including the drawers and doors. Designer Tzvia Kaziof aimed to create the impression that the table and island were formed as one seamless, synergistic piece.
The intended visual effect was that the island emerges naturally from the table, or conversely, that the table appears to have “swallowed” the island. This was achieved by adding a wooden belt that wraps entirely around the island.
In reality, the table and island were built separately, allowing the table to be moved and expanded when necessary. The connecting element between the two is the wooden belt, and the same type of wood was used to craft the table itself — creating perfect harmony between the two pieces.
