White-toned kitchen combined with natural veneer
We are pleased to present a standard kitchen that was transformed into a spacious and modern one by removing the dining area and expanding the space in its place.
A minimalist kitchen with clean lines was chosen. The selected color scheme combines white with veneer to add warmth, along with a touch of black to create contrast.
“White, combined with additional shades in the right balance, turns it into a contemporary kitchen,” says designer Yifat Matos.

MEET THE DESIGNER
Yifat Matos
My name is Yifat Matos, and I am the owner of Batim Studio for Interior Design.
The studio specializes in providing planning and design solutions for private homes and apartments, focusing on a clean and minimalist style while preserving a warm and cozy atmosphere.
Through proper planning and collaborative thinking, we work to understand daily needs — from family leisure activities, levels of privacy, and hosting habits, all the way to where you toss your keys when you come home tired.
When the needs are clearly defined, the solutions become simple and natural.
The studio’s eclectic design approach combines a variety of styles. Alongside minimalism, you will always find a touch of character — a vintage item from the flea market, hand-painted floor tiles, wood accents, or intimate lighting.
The secret lies in balancing materials properly to create harmony and flow throughout the home’s spaces.
Every home is unique. The studio strives to design and create the most suitable personal space for each client.
This differentiation comes from deeply understanding the client and learning about their preferred style.
Batim Studio provides comprehensive solutions for living and working spaces.
Client guidance begins at the very inception of the idea — understanding and defining needs, building a program tailored to the client, planning walls and furniture layout, electrical and lighting planning, kitchen and carpentry details, product selection, monitoring the construction process — all the way to the exciting moment of moving into the finished space.
