In a spacious penthouse of 180 sqm with an additional 100 sqm terrace, a warm and inviting home was designed for a couple with three grown children.
The homeowners wanted a modern and functional space with smart storage solutions and a dedicated place for every item – especially in the kitchen, the heart of the home.
The Kitchen – The Beating Heart of the Home
The kitchen opens into the main living area and features a large window overlooking the terrace, which serves as the family’s private garden.
Given its importance as an integral part of the public space, the kitchen was designed with clean lines and a refined, contemporary look:

Tall cabinets and hidden storage to maintain order and aesthetics, chosen in a matte cashmere lacquer, shade 22.

A central functional island wrapped by a surrounding wooden table, providing casual and comfortable seating for the whole family and their guests.

Soft, light tones that preserve a sense of calm and serenity, creating a welcoming and pleasant atmosphere throughout the living area.
The main challenge in this project was preserving the ceiling height without lowering it for ductwork. The air conditioning system was cleverly concealed, maintaining a sense of openness and spaciousness.
The result is a modern yet warm space, both functional and inviting, perfectly reflecting the homeowners’ personalities.
From the initial handover of the apartment to move-in day, a carefully planned home was created, tailored to the family’s daily life.
At the end of the process, the homeowners invited the designers for a family meal in the new kitchen, a moving moment where the house truly came alive.
