Classic white kitchen with a central island
One of the main needs of the homeowners was a large kitchen where they could cook together and host comfortably. Naturally, the choice of materials in this space was crucial—they needed to be easy and practical to maintain. Based on this, the kitchen, like the rest of the house, was designed with a minimalist approach, optimizing the space for the best possible layout. “In other words, functionality first, and only then aesthetic design,” she emphasizes.
The cabinetry combines both low and tall storage units. The tall unit stretches upward, maintaining the room’s height without compromising the ceiling’s appearance. It conceals built-in appliances such as refrigerators and includes a pair of ovens, a microwave, and a coffee machine. The lower units provide comfortable work surfaces, with windows above them that open to a stunning, inspiring view.
At the heart of the kitchen is a spacious seating island, which becomes the most vibrant gathering spot at the end of the day.

MEET THE DESIGNER
Mariana Sison
I took my first steps in the world of design at the age of 16, when I was first introduced to the field and gained practical skills through an interior design and architecture study program. From that moment, I fell in love with the world of design, which led me to pursue professional education at the Holon Institute of Technology (H.I.T.). In 2012, I completed a B.DESIGN degree.
I studied and specialized in home design and commercial spaces, making design an inseparable part of my life and personality. Over the years, I worked as an interior designer at leading architecture firms in Israel, but the most significant leap in my career came when I opened my own independent studio in 2014.
My studio specializes in multidisciplinary interior design and home styling.
