Graphite black nano kitchen combined with dark wood
The kitchen was designed for a family of five living in a two-story penthouse in Yavne.
From the very first concept stage, designer Lital Arbiv, together with the clients, decided on a guiding theme of super-modern, dramatic, clean, and elegant design in dark tones, combined with natural materials such as concrete and walnut wood.
As an integral part of the home’s clean design lines, the kitchen was crafted using graphite black nano material, accented with dark wood and a porcelain countertop in shades of black with subtle brown veining.
The layout features two parallel sections:
-
One side has tall cabinets reaching the ceiling, housing a flush-fit refrigerator, pantry, integrated oven and microwave, and a worktop with a sink.
-
Opposite, there is a large island, 3.20 meters in length, serving as a spacious work surface with induction cooktop, additional storage, and six high leather chairs in a warm brown tone, harmoniously blending with the rest of the kitchen.
The island functions as the main gathering spot for daily family use, as the decision was made early in the planning process to forgo a conventional dining table.
