Gray Formica kitchen and white island
In the entry-level floor of this project, there was originally a closed kitchen in a separate room and a dining area enclosed by a half-wall. The floor was transformed into one large open public space, creating a sense of flow and spaciousness between the different areas.
My goal was to create connection and harmony between the spacious kitchen—stretching along the entire length of the house—and the living room, which together form the heart of the home and the center of family life.
The kitchen was designed to meet the needs of a growing family and includes tall storage cabinets, ample counter space, and a large island that connects to a wide dining table. The sink and stovetop were placed on the island to support this concept and create a natural link between the kitchen and the living room.
The materials and Formica fronts were chosen for their practicality, tailored to a young couple with small children—aiming to create a home that is not only beautiful and well-designed but also functional and welcoming.

MEET THE DESIGNER
Hadar Choresh Tzur
My studio, Hadar Choresh Tzur, specializes in interior design and planning for both private and commercial/public projects.
We provide creative, diverse, and tailor-made solutions that reflect each client’s unique needs, lifestyle, and vision—while maintaining a strong commitment to high-quality, original design.
I believe that the process of turning a vision into reality is just as important as the final result. That’s why I emphasize open communication and full collaboration with every client. As an interior designer, I’m deeply passionate about my work and the world of design.
My design style is modern and urban, with subtle industrial touches. I truly value aesthetics and thoughtful design, but I always prioritize functionality and real-life practicality. To me, no matter how beautiful or stylish a space is—if it’s not comfortable and functional, it’s missing its purpose.
I’m passionate about challenges and love turning limitations into strengths—turning lemons into lemonade. I’m skilled at working with limited budgets, distributing funds wisely so that the final outcome looks like a million dollars—even when the actual investment was much lower. These kinds of projects challenge and excite me even more than those with unlimited budgets.
I’m a perfectionist, and just as I set high standards for myself, I do the same with the suppliers and professionals I work with—choosing them carefully and thoughtfully to ensure the best possible results.
