White, black, and iron kitchen
The kitchen was designed in a U-shape, featuring tall cabinets on both the right and left sides, with a 6-square-meter work surface in between that includes both the sink and the cooktop.
The large island, approximately 4 meters long, also incorporates a dining area for six people, serving as the heart of the home and its main activity hub.
“The client debated for a long time between a black or white kitchen. In the end, she took my recommendation, and we decided on a combination of the two: the tall cabinets were designed in white, built as two separate units protruding slightly from the wall.
For the work surface and island, we chose black iron fronts, paired with a black granite countertop made of Nero Assoluto stone.
The result is an impressive, clean, and calm kitchen that will stand the test of time.”
To break up the stillness and monochromatic feel of the space, natural oak bar stools were selected, adding subtle freshness and warmth.
They also harmonize beautifully with the feature wall in the living room, which is clad in a similar tone.
In conclusion, the unique blend of colors, materials, furniture, and textures — used in perfect balance — creates a distinctive style for each area while maintaining a cohesive connection throughout the home.
The result speaks for itself.
