Kitchen from the Sigma Series – Dark Champagne Brushed Aluminum Finish
In this breathtaking project, architect Chez Chadi drew inspiration from the surrounding mountain landscape, with the vision of bringing the natural beauty of the outdoors into the home itself.
Instead of building a traditional fence, a unique continuation of the mountain lines was created using cladding and recessed lighting, simulating the sun setting between mountain peaks through layers of light, material, and color.
Natural Materials Connecting Inside and Out
Throughout the house and exterior, natural materials were carefully selected to create a seamless transition between indoor and outdoor spaces.
-
Taj Mahal natural marble, a luxurious granite, was used extensively to infuse the home with a sense of calm, balance, and harmony.
The Kitchen – Precision and Functionality
The kitchen follows the same meticulous design and material concept, while maintaining high functionality.
-
A wall of tall cabinets integrates refrigerators, ovens, and storage units, blending seamlessly with the architectural lines of the space and flowing into the interior wall cladding for a clean and harmonious look.
-
At the center stands a generous island, serving as both a functional hub and a design focal point.
The island includes:
-
A sink and cooktop unit
-
Advanced storage solutions
-
A wooden seating area, creating a cozy and intimate spot for casual dining
Innovative Finishes
Alongside the natural stone surfaces, the design features Semel’s Sigma Series fronts – an innovative material that mimics brushed aluminum in a dark champagne tone, adding a luxurious, modern touch to the space.
The sides of the island are clad in natural stones treated with sandblasting, creating a striking three-dimensional texture, while the top surface is crafted entirely from Taj Mahal marble, delivering a unified, noble appearance.
The combination of wood, brushed-aluminum-like finishes, and natural stone creates a continuous design language that flows throughout the home.
Seamless Flow & Connection to Nature
Every element – from materials and furniture to final finishes – was thoughtfully chosen to ensure a sense of openness, continuity, and constant connection to the exterior views, extending infinitely outward.
The custom-designed furniture, along with carefully selected fabrics and claddings, perfectly complements the overall concept.
This project is a masterful blend of nature, precise architecture, refined materiality, and contemporary design, all while maintaining a warm, inviting, and highly functional living experience.
