Arena Matte 41 and Striped Oak Kitchen
In a private countryside home, overlooking wide, green fields, a kitchen was designed to evoke a sense of calm, cleanliness, and harmony.
The design is based on a soft, light color palette, combined with natural oak to create a space that is both warm yet modern, refined yet welcoming.
Turning a Challenge into a Design Feature
The main challenge in this project was a structural column located in the center of the space.
Instead of hiding it, the designers transformed it into a central design element: a large, spacious island was built around the column, integrating it seamlessly into the kitchen – both aesthetically and functionally.
Materials & Finishes
The kitchen fronts were designed in Arena Matt 41, offering a bright, clean, and elegant look, paired with Striped Oak veneer 777, which adds natural warmth and authentic texture.
The countertops and backsplash are clad in stone-inspired finishes, complementing the minimalist design and creating a strong connection between the interior space and the surrounding landscape.
Smart Storage & Functionality
Great attention was given to functionality:
A wall of tall, built-in cabinets for seamless storage integration
Pull-out drawers for easy access and organization
Optimized use of every corner to maximize storage space
This careful planning creates a precise balance between clean aesthetics and practical storage, perfectly suited to everyday living.
The Result
A bright, serene, and inviting space, where every detail – from materials to storage solutions – has been thoughtfully considered.
A kitchen that reflects the open countryside views, offering a natural and peaceful atmosphere for cooking and hosting alike.

My name is Aliza Cohen, an interior designer and architect with a studio based in Shoham.
I love my work and the creative process behind every project I take on.
Over a decade ago, I graduated with honors from Concept College, where I studied Interior Design, Architecture, and Home Styling. Shortly after, I founded a boutique design studio, dedicated to providing personalized guidance throughout the entire process – from developing the concept and selecting materials to coordinating with contractors and suppliers, overseeing the work on-site, and completing the final styling and finishing touches.
My design language is diverse, and in every project, I strive to incorporate unique elements while ensuring precision and functionality.
I am especially drawn to the warm, eclectic, and refined style, always paying close attention to the small details that make a space feel complete and truly special.
Most of my projects include private homes, apartments, commercial spaces, and offices.
Building strong relationships with my clients is a cornerstone of my work – I always aim to truly listen to their dreams, needs, and budget, turning their house into a unique home with a character of its own.
Every year, I attend design fairs and conferences both in Israel and abroad to stay up-to-date and bring my clients the latest innovations and trends in interior design.
