Gray Kitchen with Concrete-Tone Worktop
“This stunning kitchen began with the choice of the worktop,” shares WE Architects, the project’s architects. “The clients fell in love with this concrete-look surface even before we started working together, so it became our anchor and inspiration for the entire design.”
The clients, both talented graphic designers with impeccable taste, brought along a collection of stunning appliances. The design goal was to create a visually calm and clean background to highlight these beautiful pieces. For this reason, the gray-toned worktop was paired with matching gray cabinet fronts, creating a seamless and harmonious look.
To keep the tall cabinet wall feeling light and airy, a niche was integrated, featuring an additional worktop and a dedicated spot for the beloved espresso machine. Practicality was a top priority throughout the design process. The layout was carefully planned to create an efficient and comfortable workflow, with a well-defined work triangle connecting the refrigerator, sink, and cooktop.
The result is a modern and highly functional kitchen that balances aesthetics with usability, providing a calm and inviting space for cooking and gathering.
