Shira Rosenfeld Galil – Interior Design Studio
Shira Rosenfeld Galil is an interior designer specializing in the planning and design of private homes and apartments, providing full guidance throughout the renovation or purchasing process.
A graduate of the College of Management’s Interior Design program, Shira has been active in the field since 2011.
Her studio is located in Hod HaSharon.
Shira grew up in a home where design was a way of life – with a mother who is an architect and a father who is a structural engineer.
For her, design is an inseparable part of her identity.
Every project is a personal journey with her clients – a journey that begins with a deep understanding of their needs and ends with a design that perfectly reflects their personality.
Her guiding principle is creating a clean design language that stems from functionality, combined with an aesthetic approach using raw and natural materials.
“A well-designed space directly impacts the quality of life of those who live in it.”
This particular kitchen project was part of a comprehensive renovation of Shira’s childhood home – the very house where she was born, originally designed by her parents: her mother, the architect, and her father, the structural engineer.
The entire house underwent major renovations, while the kitchen remained in its original location.
Initially, the kitchen was enclosed in a separate room, and about 30 years ago, it was partially opened.
This time, the goal was to fully connect the kitchen to the dining area, creating an open, flowing space by removing all the walls.
Key priorities included:
-
Adding a counter large enough to comfortably seat all five family members
-
Concealing as many appliances as possible to maintain a clean, streamlined look
-
Designing a highly functional kitchen that would perfectly suit the family’s daily life
