Metallic charcoal lacquer kitchen with a black lacquer island
A new project designed for a couple with three children, who moved into a contractor apartment but wanted to adapt it to fit their specific needs and lifestyle.
“As soon as we reviewed the initial plans and understood the clients’ needs, we realized that a completely different kitchen layout was required,” explain the project designers.
The kitchen was designed in dark tones — the tall cabinets are finished in metallic charcoal lacquer, while the island features a sleek black lacquer finish.
A large island was planned with ample seating for the entire family, as there is no separate dining area in the main living space.
The island faces a wall of tall cabinets, with an additional niche designed to extend the kitchen storage. This includes glass-front cabinets placed next to integrated refrigerators, creating abundant storage space while also providing generous work surfaces.
The island itself becomes a sculptural centerpiece in the open space, thanks to the dramatic granite stone that cascades elegantly down its side, adding a touch of luxury and artistry.
