Smoked oak veneer kitchen and a metallic Shiraz-colored island
Presented here is a penthouse apartment with a panoramic view and a surrounding balcony. The apartment itself covers an area of approximately 160 square meters, with an additional 120 square meters of balcony space.
The apartment underwent a significant programmatic transformation aimed at creating optimal flow through a very wide opening towards the balcony and the view. The designer planned an ideal separation between the public and private areas using a wine library that seamlessly connects to the kitchen. The kitchen is positioned at the center of the space, directly facing the entrance door, and conceals the family corner wall. The wall with the tall kitchen cabinets also hides the laundry room, featuring zero-line concealed doors.
To break up the linear mass, the designer chose to coat the walls with sand-colored Arava plaster and curve them towards the ceiling to soften the space.
