Brushed metal kitchen with Atlas porcelain for the island countertop
This kitchen was designed for the “Earth, Wind & Fire” project — an apartment created for a client who had lived most of his life in a private house and was now moving into a high-rise apartment with a stunning balcony view.
The design concept aimed to bring nature, earth, and the feeling of a garden indoors, adapting these elements to the smaller scale of a tower apartment with a breathtaking view. The designer sought to preserve natural elements such as earth, trees, and the scents of nature, translating them into the urban interior through the use of raw, natural materials, creating a strong connection between nature and the urban environment.
The living room and kitchen were planned as one connected space, with an interesting, indirect connection between the two, allowing for multiple viewpoints. Floor-to-ceiling glass doors provide a direct view and seamless access to the balcony, creating an ongoing dialogue between indoors and outdoors.
In the kitchen, different materials were carefully combined while maintaining a unified color palette — brushed metal tones paired with Atlas porcelain for the island surface. The kitchen was designed to maximize storage space, ensuring both functionality and aesthetics.
