Graphite gray kitchen combined with smoked oak veneer
A project in central Israel where a private home was designed for a couple with three children. The couple’s request was for the kitchen, located at the entrance and serving as the heart of the home, to create a “WOW” effect for anyone who walks in.
Upon opening the door, visitors are greeted by a spacious, minimalist, modern, and dramatic kitchen. It features a very large island with seating for the entire family, a generous work surface, and storage areas on both sides.
The tall cabinet unit houses a pantry, refrigerator, storage space, oven unit, warming drawer, and two special niches: one for the sink and the other for the coffee machine and water dispenser, creating visual separation and interest within the long cabinet wall.
Additionally, a lower cabinet unit was designed to hold induction cooktops, a wide work surface, and plenty of storage.
The kitchen was designed in a graphite gray tone. To add a twist, smoked oak veneer was incorporated into the back of the island and the upper cabinets of the niches. These elements blend beautifully with the concrete-look flooring used throughout the entire floor.
Black porcelain granite was chosen for the countertops and backsplash, creating a clean, sleek, and modern appearance, perfectly complemented by carefully selected lighting.
