Dark Metallic Gray Kitchen with a Brushed Canaletto Walnut Veneer Island
For this project, a striking and elegant kitchen was designed, featuring a range of deep gray tones combined with natural wood.
The main kitchen wall includes 5 meters of cabinetry crafted from various materials, creating a mosaic-like effect with subtle variations of gray. The cabinet fronts were finished in dark gray with a metallic touch, while the upper cabinets were chosen in black to create a sleek, sophisticated contrast.
For the niche, a natural brushed granite countertop was selected, exposing its unique veining and featuring an integrated sink. All appliances were carefully matched to the kitchen’s color scheme, acting as jewelry-like accents that elevate the overall design.
In front of the cabinetry stands a large island, approximately 3.5 meters long, with all sides clad in brushed Canaletto walnut veneer, showcasing a natural, textured effect. The island connects seamlessly to a wall covered with wooden beams in a slightly darker brushed finish, adding depth and harmony to the space.
The combination of diverse materials and rich textures results in a dramatic and luxurious kitchen, perfectly balancing modern elegance with warmth and character.
